Simple Roasted Chicken Breast Recipe from fitgreengal.com

As a foodie and chef, I’m always looking for new ways to cook tasty dishes. And one of my favorite ingredients to work with is chicken breasts. They are versatile, affordable, and can be cooked in a variety of ways. Today, I’m going to share with you my favorite recipe for perfectly cooked chicken breasts.

Ingredients

You won’t need many ingredients for this recipe. All you need is 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic (minced), 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of black pepper, and 2 tablespoons of your favorite herbs. I like to use a combination of rosemary and thyme.

Preparation

First, preheat your oven to 425°F. Then, place the chicken breasts in a roasting pan and season with the olive oil, garlic, salt, black pepper, and herbs. Make sure the chicken is evenly coated, and then put it in the oven for 25 minutes.

Tip:

If you’re using a convection oven, reduce the cooking time by 5 minutes.

Cooking Instructions

Once the chicken has been in the oven for 25 minutes, take it out and use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. It should read at least 165°F. If it’s below that, place the chicken back in the oven for a few minutes and check it again.

Serving Suggestions

Once the chicken is cooked through, let it rest for a few minutes before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute and the flavors to intensify. Serve the chicken with a side of roasted vegetables and a salad for a complete meal.

Conclusion

Cooking chicken breasts doesn’t have to be complicated. With this simple recipe, you can enjoy perfectly cooked chicken every time. So don’t be afraid to experiment and have some fun with your cooking. As a famous song once said, “We can make the greatest meals, with the least of ingredients” (by The Kinks).
